Free Collision Repair Estimates
How estimates work
Estimates are free, in person or from photos. Send us a few quick details, your name, phone, vehicle, and whether you are paying through an insurance claim or out of pocket, and our team will follow up.
Not sure what to have ready? Read how to prepare for a collision repair estimate. If your estimate and your insurer's differ, see why the two can be different, and for added damage found during repair, what a repair supplement is.
Our shop is in Van Nuys, and photos can be a way to start the conversation if you are coming from elsewhere in the Los Angeles area.

What to have ready
You do not need everything below to ask for an estimate. The more you can tell us, the more useful the first conversation is.
- Your name and phone number, and the best time to reach you.
- The vehicle's year, make and model.
- How you plan to pay: an insurance claim or out of pocket.
- Where the vehicle is damaged and how it happened.
- Photos from several angles, in daylight if you can. The form has no photo upload, so ask us how to send them.
- Anything you noticed beyond the visible damage, such as doors that no longer close properly.
- Claim details, if you have already started a claim.
How to get an estimate
This is a suggested order, not a fixed schedule.
Gather your details
Collect the information above, and take photos of each damaged area if you can.Submit the form or call
Use the estimate form or call (818) 472-9222.Discuss photos or a visit
Tell us whether you would like to send photos or bring the vehicle to our Van Nuys shop, and ask how to do either.Review scope and payment questions
Ask what the estimate covers, what could change it, and how the insurance or out-of-pocket choice affects the next steps. Timing depends on the damage and parts availability, so we do not promise dates up front.
What an estimate can and cannot tell you
An estimate from photos is based on visible damage. Hidden damage can change the scope once the vehicle is looked at in person, and an estimate does not by itself show that your insurer will agree to anything.
Not sure which kind of repair you need? You do not have to pick one before you ask. Our collision repair page covers impact damage, our auto body repair page covers dents and panels, and our auto body paint page covers the finish. For concerns about structure, see our frame repair page.
Estimates and insurance claims
If the damage is part of an insurance claim, a free estimate is something you can share with your insurer, and we help customers navigate insurance claims alongside the repair. See our insurance claim assistance page.
Claim assistance is not a guarantee of approval or a direct relationship with every carrier. Coverage is up to your insurance company. If you would rather pay yourself, choose out of pocket on the form.
Example: documented damage and repair outcome
Porsche Macan front bumper damage repair. These photos come from our Van Nuys shop's case study and show one vehicle's front bumper before and after repair. They are an example of documenting damage and the result. They do not suggest an estimate amount, repair method or timing for your vehicle.
Estimate questions
Does a collision repair estimate cost anything?
No. Estimates are free, in person or from photos.
What information do I need to request one?
The form asks for your name, phone number, vehicle, and whether you are paying through an insurance claim or out of pocket. It also helps to know where the vehicle is damaged and how it happened.
Can I send photos instead of coming in?
Yes. The estimate form has no photo upload, so call or ask when we follow up, and we will tell you how to send them. Photos from a few angles in daylight work best, though they only show what is visible.
Does an estimate set the final scope or mean my insurer approves it?
No. An estimate is based on the damage that can be seen, and the scope may change once the vehicle is looked at in person. It also does not mean your insurance company has approved anything. Coverage decisions are made by your insurer.
What if I do not know yet whether to use insurance?
The form asks how you are paying, so choose the closest answer, or call and talk it through. Our insurance claim assistance page explains how claims fit in.
